For two years, Jinn Lee has been in a wheel chair, working to regain her ability to walk again. On the anniversary of her injury, the person responsible has come back to ask her forgiveness for causing the accident that changed her life. Can Jinn forgive and forget or is there more to the story than meets the eye?

Also, Raymond’s cousin Katie is visiting for a few days, and she’s got a case book of mysteries that needs solving!  Will Raymond, Robert and Lisan be able to survive Katie’s meddling or does she hold the key to solving the most important case of their careers? “And Forget…” tells a poignant story from the Scrapyard Detectives’ past as the characters reach a turning a point in their lives in this all-ages tale that shows the value of acceptance and personal character.

“…And Forget”, the fourth issue of Scrapyard Detectives, is written by Eisner Award Winner, J.M. DeMatteis (Marvel and DC Comics).  The story is penciled by Scrapyard Detectives co-creator Bill Galvan and inked by Robert Hawkins and Trevor Nielson.  This issue also features two alternate “chase” covers by comic book creators Joe Staton and Shawn McManus, which will be distributed randomly and at upcoming conventions.

The Scrapyard Detectives series is published and distributed by The Diversity Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to educating children and adults about diversity. These educational comics are given free of charge to schools and libraries. If you are an educator or librarian and would like to acquire a quantity of the books to use for educational purposes, please fill out the form at www.smilesfordiversity.org/pdf/comics_application.pdf and send it in to the Diversity Foundation.
